In the heart of Taos’ central historic district stands the former homes and studios of E. I. Couse and J. H. Sharp, two of the artists who formed the Taos Society of Artists in 1915. We will visit the Couse House and three special exhibits:

 

Joseph Henry Sharp: The Life and Work of an American Legend in Sharp's 1915 studio.

 

Weaving the New World: Hispanic Textiles and Their Influence on the Northern Frontier in the Luna Chapel.

 

Image Makers for America: In Pursuit of a National Identity in the Dean Porter Gallery in the Lunder Research Center.

 

This is a two-hour tour so please bring water, if possible, and be prepared for standing and walking, with stops along the way.
